With a guaranteed million in his pockets, Sumail became the youngest millionaire in e-sports following his team’s achievement. The best-of-five Grand Finals series ended 3-1, with Evil Geniuses beating the dark horse, CDEC from China. CDEC which was a surprise winner from the qualifier stage took on the American favorite Evil Geniuses in the Grand Finals best-of-five series. CDEC won the Upper Bracket after knocking EG down to the Lower Bracket, where EG won its finals series against LGD Gaming 2-0, securing its place in the TI5 Grand Finals. Last year’s winner, Newbee, was the first team eliminated from TI5. Following the elimination of Invictus Gaming and Na’vi, it was guaranteed we’d see a new Dota 2 champ in 2015. Pakistan born Sumail is now a resident of Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago near O’Hare International Airport. Sumail who started playing Dota?2 at the age of 7 says it was never easy for him to reach here, living in a family of eight, two parents and six kids in a 3 bedroom place in Pakistan.
