If you have projects on Google Code you will have until August of this year 2015, before the site will become read-only. Google Code projects still remaining will no longer be able to be updated, however you will still be able to read and view source code, issues and wikis. On January 25, 2016 the Google Code service will be totally shut down. However you will be able to download tarballs of projects which will be available through the end of 2016. As a courtesy to users of Google Code and to help get current projects off the Google Code site, Google has an Export to Github tool to make the migration easy.
