Steve Jobs had to look no further according to a new biography, In Becoming Steve Jobs, which reveals that current Apple CEO Tim Cook once offered an ailing Jobs a portion of his liver. In Becoming Steve Jobs which will be released on March 24, is written by veteran technology reporter Brent Schlender and Fast Company executive editor Rick Tetzeli. An excerpt from the biography is given below : After going through all the necessary tests to determine whether Tim Cook could donate a part of his liver, he stopped by Jobs’s home in Palo Alto to tell ailing Jobs about his decision, Jobs refused. “He cut me off at the legs, almost before the words were out of my mouth,” said Cook. “‘No,’ he said. ‘I’ll never let you do that.
