Ubisoft is celebrating its 30th birthday in the video gaming field this year. The French multinational video game publisher is offering PC gamers seven digital games (from June to December) free of charge on Uplay, their own PC gaming platform. Yesterday, the big publisher made another classic Assassin’s Creed III available to its fans as the last gift to finish the year. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time was the first free game back in June, followed up by Splinter Cell in July, Rayman Origins in August, The Crew in September, Beyond Good & Evil in October, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in November. Now, anyone with an Ubisoft Club account can go ahead and claim their free copy of Assassin’s Creed III, a promotion that will be available until December 31st. Ubisoft’s ’30 Days of Giveaways’ ends on December 23, so it would be better to grab Assassin’s Creed III before December 23. All you need to do is go to its Ubisoft Club page, create a free account, or you can log into the member’s account. Then, check the age requirement box, and click “get the game now”. If you already have the PC version of Uplay installed, you can download it by clicking here. In addition to the free game of the month, Ubisoft is also in the middle of its 30 Days of Giveaways promotion. To participate, just log in to the account you created to get your hands on free games, wallpapers and discounts. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Microsoft Windows, Assassin’s Creed III is a 2012 action-adventure video game that took players into the heart of the American Revolutionary War. It is the fifth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and a direct sequel to 2011’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. The game was released worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on October 30, 2012, with a Wii U and Microsoft Windows release following in November 2012. In Assassin’s Creed III, players take the role of Connor; warrior son of a Native American mother and British father. The game is set in 1775 during the American Revolutionary War. As the colonies draw closer to revolution, you will pledge your life to the freedom of your clan before becoming the spark that ignites the revolution into full blaze. As the game’s description reads, your crusade will take you through blood-soaked battlefields to crowded city streets, to perilous wilderness and beyond. You will not only witness history—you will make it.
