All those flip phone fans out their who fondly remember the popular Motorola RAZR in its heydays, now have a chance to get their hands on another flip phone. But this one is from house of Samsung. While there were rumours about Samsung working on a flip phone codenamed “Veyron,” new leaks indicated that the South Korean smartphone giant is working on a separate mid-range Android clamshell smartphone. As usual, the leak popped up on the Chinese Twitter equivalent Weibo which shows a super slim Samsung Galaxy Folder 2. The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 Android flip phone with a gold design and has a 3.8-inch display. From the leaks it could be made out that the Galaxy Folder 2 will be powered by an unnamed Qualcomm processor, a 2,000 mAh battery. The Samsung flip phone will have an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. It will be powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 Android flip phone is quite different from the rumored “Veyron” clamshell, which reportedly sports a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel shooter and other flagship-level specs. However, Samsung fanboys note that maybe the company is coming out with Galaxy Folder 2 for the low budget market. Weibo leaks states that Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 Android flip phone will be priced just $250. However a international roll out is ruled out at present.
