With a thickness of 10.4mm, it’s thinner than both the 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Air. The HP Spectre 13 weighs only 1.1 kg with 13.3-inch edge-to-edge full-HD WLED-backlit IPS display with a 0.4mm Corning Gorilla Glass layer protection. The company’s latest top-end laptop, the Spectre 13 will be the first to sport its new logo for the premium range, which first unveiled back in April. “Targeted at the youth, the launch of Spectre 13 is to make our mark in the premium market in India. We are already the leader in the overall Indian PC market and with this device, we will push our innovations and experiences deeper into the domestic market,” Ketan Patel, Director, Personal Systems Business, HP Inc India, told IANS. “India is poised for a technology leap and Spectre 13 will fulfil the requirements of the young millennials. It is truly a non-compromised product when compared with the rival premium products in the same category,” Patel added. The HP Spectre 13 comes with a two-tone finish along with a copper-coloured spine, which is built using carbon fibre and aluminium for lightweight durability. The 64-bit Windows 10 laptop will come with a choice of Intel’s 6th generation Core i5 or Core i7 processors with Intel HD Graphics, SSD storage up to 512GB, and 8GB of LPDDR3-1866MHz RAM as standard.

Further, it will sport dual HP speakers powered by Bang & Olufsen audio on either side. The company also claims that the laptop features an innovative hybrid battery split into two thinner pieces that keeps it running up to 9.45 hours on a single charge. Speaking about the HP Spectre 13, Rajiv Srivastava, Managing Director, HP India said, “HP as India’s technology leader aims to make life better, productive and more fun. We are at the forefront of delivering industry-leading innovation and HP’s Spectre 13 is a beautifully crafted Notebook and a reflection of what many millennials aspire to be — exceptional, cool, dazzling, standing out from the crowd, but making an impact.”
