While three games are available for immediate download to subscribers from the Netflix mobile app, the fourth game will arrive on May 31. The three new games available for free download to all Netflix subscribers on Android and iOS platforms from May 24 are Dragon Up (East Side Games), Moonlighter (11 Bit Studios), and Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt (HandyGames). To download these games, Android and iOS mobile users need to go to a dedicated games row when scrolling down the app’s home tab where they can select any game to download, with Android additionally having a dedicated games tab. Dragon Up is a casual single-player game that lets players hatch and collect rare dragons in order to save the kingdom by discovering each dragon’s unique design, personality, and rewards. Moonlighter is a role-playing game in which the player is a shopkeeper by day in an idyllic village and is a hero by night who explores dungeons, slays monsters, and unlocks mysteries. Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt is a mobile version of the acclaimed strategy game in which players must start with constructing a small village and build their way up to a massive medieval metropolis. The fourth gaming title, Exploding Kittens – The Game (Exploding Kittens Digital) will be available from May 31. It adapts the popular card game in which players draw cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and blows up. This Netflix version will have two new exclusive cards, Radar and Flip Flop, which will enable players to manipulate the deck in new ways. While Radar reveals to players the position of the Exploding Kitten closest to the top of the card deck, Flip Flop reverses the order of the cards in the deck. The game will also have an exclusive expansion pack of cards that will be themed around Netflix’s animated Exploding Kittens show coming in 2023. As of now, Netflix’s gaming library has a total of 21 games, which will go up to 22 titles on May 31. Ever since Netflix marked its debut into the gaming world with “Netflix Games” in November 2021, the company has acquired three studios: Finland’s Next Games, Texas-based developer Boss Fight Entertainment and Oxenfree developer Night School Studio.
