JIRA is a proprietary issue tracking product developed by Atlassian that allows bug tracking and agile project management and is used by Fortune 500 companies. Avinash Jain, the security researcher who discovered the problem, stated that the primary reason behind the leak was the wild misconfiguration which was present in JIRA.
