As per the teaser on YouTube the actual design has not been released however it has been described by a voice over in an intriguing way which says: “Tomorrow Metals will Flow, Borders will disappear” which clearly indicates that as against the “plastic body” in its earlier Galaxy S series; Samsung’s Galaxy 6 would be made of full metallic body and the border will disappear indicating it will be “Bezel free” so that the user will have benefit of optimum screen size. Next it says “Reflections will be free. Colors will live. The future will be the present.” This indicates that the phone will have curvy edges, anti reflective screens. It also seems that Samsung will release Galaxy 6 and Galaxy S Edge simultaneously. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMaeJ6hOtCY Galaxy 6 would be a front facing display version and Galaxy S Edge screen would have edges on both the sides and these edges will be 30 to 50 percent less curved in comparison to its last year’s release Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy S Edge handset is bit smaller in size and the volume and power buttons are on the side of the device however curves will be uniform. There are rumors that the Galaxy Edge phone will have Edge Screens on both the sides this will give a 3 screen effect to the smart phone. Edge screen means the phone would have a touchscreen display along its edges. This works independently of the main screen providing shortcuts, widgets and controls allowing the main screen to be completely filled by games or video without wasting space. Hence this will also give the phone a Bezel free or border free look!! It also seems that the phone will look same at front and back indicating it will be made up of all metal probably even with a glass design. Other features of the Galaxy S6 smartphones : Size of the screen would be 5.1 inches with 2K AMOLED display which would give superb HD resolution, 64-bit Exynos 7420, 3 GB RAM. The phone would have “smart camera” which includes 21-megapixel rear cameras, 5-megapixel front-facing cameras. 2600 mAh batteries. In all the phone would look somewhat 3 sided display with easy to use cameras. In terms of software Galaxy S6 has the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Also there is an indication that Samsung has decided to remove the bloatware issue faced due to TouchWiz. Bloatware issue occurs due the various unwanted apps loaded by TouchWiz, some of them may not be required by the user. Hence Samsung is suppose to remove these unnecessary apps and provide them in the “Free apps” for its users, this is an indication of faster working of the Android. Galaxy S6 is also expected to be released with Exynos 7 and LTE. Samsung is going to unveil Galaxy 6 on March 1st at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2015 and with all the different speculations and intriguing teasers it seems to have captured the mass market with optimum curiosity and is definitely ready for a grand release of the flagship Galaxy S6.
