Mi Note 2 takes our flagship lineup to the next level, and Mi MIX is a glimpse at what the phone of the future looks like.” On the specification front, the Mi MIX comes with a 6.4-inch edgeless display with full ceramic body. It has ‘cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic’ technology instead of regular speakers and an earpiece. While the display is a custom one with a narrower border, Xiaomi has put the front camera at the bottom of the phone, which will rotate on its own when a user wants to take selfies. The Mi Mix has the latest Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor that powers Google’s Pixels. It includes a 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology and runs the MIUI 8. Mi Mix also comes with Full NFC Functionality and supports Mi Pay. It also has GPS high-precision positioning, a 16MP primary camera with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and HD audio quality (192kHz/24-bit resolution). The phone will be available in China on November 4 and will come in two models. One model would come with 4GB of RAM along with 128GB of in-built storage and cost 3499 yuan (Rs. 34503, $510, AU$680, £420), while a premium model with 18-karat gold accents around the camera and 6GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal storage will cost 3,999 yuan (Rs. 39500, $590, AU$770, £480).
