It will have a 13MP rear camera and 5MP snapper in front with OmniVision technology. There are clashing reports about the amount of RAM the upcoming phablet will feature speculating that the Redmi Note 2 may come with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. It is likely that Xiaomi may release two versions of the device having different RAM, for example, like Redmi Note and Redmi Note 4G, which have 1GB and 2G RAM respectively. It is also said to have USB Type-C connector, the new USB standard for Android devices, which Google announced at I/O 2015. It is likely that Xiaomi has plans to bring this model to India, which should be on June 29.
